Weichert, Realtors® – Frankel & Giles is wholly owned by principals Keith Giles and Jerry Karlik. Their breadth of knowledge, diverse experience and Chicago market presence provide the foundation for the Company’s success.

Mr. Giles has been instrumental in the Chicago’s residential development renaissance over the past twenty years. His vision and expertise helped revitalize Chicago’s south Loop and in 2000, was named City of Chicago Builder of the Year. Frankel & Giles was launched in 1996 by Mr. Giles to fill a void in Chicago’s South Loop residential and commercial brokerage business. The company has been involved with sales of more than 2500 residential homes representing nearly $1 billion of revenues.

Mr. Karlik began his career in the Real Estate business in 1982. He has structured transactions for the purchase, sale, development, and financing for many multi-family, industrial and commercial projects throughout the United States. He and/or his affiliates’ past holdings include over 5500 rental apartment units and 5.0 million square feet of commercial space, including warehouse, industrial, office and retail. Mr. Karlik began focusing his business efforts on Chicago’s South Loop in the late 90’s and has developed numerous properties in the past decade.
